Had an awesome one night stay here! We checked in around 4pm and went straight to the bar where the manager came and checked us in, they even gave us a room upgrade which was amazing! We then tried out some food and drinks and the portions were huge! We got the nachos and wedges and a few drinks which were yum 😊 all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We came out here to go and visit all the waterfalls and sights in the area, but unfortunately the weather didn’t hold up the following day! We definitely hope we can stay here again before heading back to NZ. 10/10 recommend!

We went with a group of biker friends. The hotel is great. Good service, good food and a great bar. The rooms have been newly renovated and were fabulous. The only issue we had was the lack of drainage from the shower. Water goes everywhere. But it was a great shower !! And the beds were brilliant - slept really well. Would recommend a night here.

Great dining experience. The venue is clean, staff are friendly and the food is delicious and plentiful. We sat on the patio with our dog and it was a lovely evening.

This hotel was a truly pleasant surprise! The renovations are top notch and traditional. Food and drinks were good and the room was the best pub room I've ever stayed in.

Showers only had Luke warm water after a long wait. Dinner was alright but for desert there was only one choice apple crumble or apple crumble. The Sunday roast that was advertised was not available. Rooms were alright, no windows in our room though. Worst was A/C, you have to go down stairs and ask the waiter to change settings as you can't change it in your room. Staff were friendly. We won't be back.

It’s an okay hotel. It seems like the restaurant is their main business and the that they simply just had room for a hotel on top. The room why stayed in was clean and nice, but small. Our only window was trough the bathroom. When we wanted to check in. No one greeted us, and we had to find a worker in their bar. Even after this, we still waited several more minutes before they had time for their hotel guests. Beside the bad welcome. I would still recommend and stay again.

Didn't stay over as we live in the tweed. This is such a great little spot to eat at any time, especially on a Saturday night! The food is amazing!!! The staff are as equally amazing! Thank you 😊

The rooms were not very large but were clean and comfortable. Fine for an overnight stop and good because there is food on sight. Very unusual bathrooms. They were massive with shower, toilet and vanity but not very practical. No screen …
